Bake Sales for Haiti

The next several weeks many cities across the country are selling baked goods whose proceeds will benefit Haiti. Yours truly will be providing a trio of citrus macarons as well as banana cream tartlets in San Francisco tomorrow. The muses have tried to locate bake sales all over the country and put all the info in one place for you. We like shoes and parties but we love people more. Go. Buy. Savor. Help.

  1. Does "vegan" mean that everything has to actually be vegan in order to sell?

  2. I'm not sure if those sales are ONLY selling vegan items or if they were just organized by a group of vegans. Regardless, vegan baked goods can be tasty if executed properly.

  3. Cool. Just checking to see if I needed to do anything specific before showing up with non-vegan food. Which totally would have happened, I'm good like that.
